Well this time of year always brings sweet memories to my mind. In a couple of days I will be a member of the church for 8 years. What a wonderful blessing it is to have the gospel in my life. I am so grateful for all of my friends from high school and their families for introducing me to the church and taking me under their wing and treating me as if I was truly apart of their family. A special thanks goes to the Allphin, Compton, and Claybrook family. I have so many special and wonderful memories of these families. They were always so great to me and were such wonderful examples of fabulous church members. I am so grateful for the testimonies of these families and the influence they were to me. I miss them and hope that they are all well and wanted to take time to express my love and appreciation for them, even if they don't ever see this.
Also, at this time my husband and I approach our 5 year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has been 5 years. We have had a great 5 years filled with lots of joys and struggles but we are happy and still in love and enjoying our life together. I'm grateful for Josh and the life we have built together. I am so blessed to have been sealed in the Temple and to have the knowledge that our family can be together for time and all eternity.
I am grateful for my testimony and am thankful for what the gospel has done in my life. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord true Church and that we have a true and living prophet called of God to lead us in these latter-days.
Happy Holidays to all of you. Enjoy your family and remember what a wonderful life our Father in Heaven has blessed us with.

Holy cow! 8 years!? That's making me feel OLD! But I guess it makes sense! We miss and appreciate you too! Oh the memories! You need to post more and put up more pictures so we can see more of you and your cute family and what you guys are up to!! Have a great Holiday season! Love ya!
I will definately let the family know about your shout out. :) I'm so glad you found my blog! I was actually thinking about you the other day. Did you ever get a call from the Carthage department asking questions about Justin? They asked me if I had your number...long story. Anyways, your daughter is so cute! And our girls are only 1 year apart. Caroline was born June 20, 2008. I don't know if you heard, but Grandpa Compton passed away this past october. Grandma Compton has lung cancer and is not doing well. Cheryl's dad came to live with them after his wife passed away last summer and he broke his hip 5 days after Virgil's funeral and is in the nursing home now. So needless to say, the Comptons have gone through alot of stress lately. I am definately going to show Cheryl your blog and let her know how you're doing. Hope all is well. Love ya!
